Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Knatra Tech (formerly Time Pause Studio), Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India (“we”, “us”), for using Thangam at https://thangam.knatra.com. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Not medical advice

Thangam is a logging and organising tool. Age-based ranges, colours and reminders are general guidance, not a diagnosis or a substitute for professional care. Always seek your doctor’s advice about your baby’s health, and call emergency services in an emergency.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for who you invite to your baby’s profile.

3. Trial and plans

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial of Thangam Plus. No card is needed.
• Paid plans (monthly, yearly, lifetime and gift plans) are prepaid. They are not renewed or charged automatically; you choose whether to renew.
• Prices are shown on the pricing page in Indian rupees (INR) or US dollars (USD), including applicable taxes where shown. Special offers apply only for the dates and numbers stated.
• “Lifetime” means for as long as we operate Thangam, for one account.
• When a plan ends, your data is kept safe. Some features are limited until you renew; you can always view recent days and export your data.
• Promo codes, gift codes and referral rewards have no cash value, can’t be exchanged, and may be withdrawn if they’re misused.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Refunds follow our refund policy.

5. Fair use

Don’t misuse Thangam: no attempts to access other people’s data, disrupt the service, create fake accounts to collect rewards, or resell the service without our written agreement. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Family Talk calls connect phone to phone wherever the networks allow, which is usual on Wi-Fi. Where they can’t (often on mobile data), a call is carried through a relay. To keep one flat price fair for every family, video carried through the relay may be sent at a lower quality, and after a fair monthly amount a call may continue as a voice call. Voice calls are not limited.

6. Your content

What you log belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Thangam to you and the people you invite, as described in our privacy policy. Photos you add in Moments are stored on Thangam’s server, are seen only by the people on that baby’s profile, and are deleted with the baby’s profile or the account. Only add photos you have the right to keep there.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Thangam available and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. Reminders depend on your device and browser and may not ring when a phone is locked. We may improve or change features; if we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we’ll tell you and offer a fair remedy.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Thangam is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Ending

You can stop using Thangam at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end these terms if you seriously breach them.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hosur, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
